Problem Note 54310: The block plot produced by the Graph Template Language (GTL) BLOCKPLOT statement might be empty

DetailsAboutRate It

The block plot produced by the Graph Template Language (GTL) BLOCKPLOT statement might be empty. This problem is most likely to occur if the template definition contains a LAYOUT LATTICE statement and the DISPLAY=NONE option is specified within the XAXISOPTS option in the LAYOUT OVERLAY statement that contains the BLOCKPLOT statement.

To circumvent the problem, add the TYPE=DISCRETE option within the XAXISOPTS option. For example:

layout overlay / xaxisopts=(type=discrete display=none);
   blockplot x=date block=type / display=(values label);
endlayout;
